My Top Movies

After watching the “Top 100” movies of all time, my current project is to create my Top 100 (or at least a Top 10). Below is the list of movies I am starting with.  In creating the list, my criteria varied from if the film immediately sprang to mind, if I loved the soundtrack, if I could watch it over and over again, if I had not seen it ages, if it struck me in some way, if it was my favorite movie at some point in my life. While developing the list, I noticed that the 80’s produced lots of comedies and now dramatic movies are usually added to the list. My college years seemed to be chock full of entries but not very many recently, outside of the Top 100 project.

Please keep in mind that are so many movies I have not seen and that this list is in no means exhaustive.
