This weekend is a watcher’s delight, with key games in several leagues.

On Saturday, Espanyol travels to Bilbao with both teams looking to secure European football next season; City tries to rebound from a midweek defeat against Fulham; and Roma hosts Inter, whose season has hit a wall.

Sunday is another showdown between United and Chelsea; the Yellow Submarine continue their fight away from the relegation places at Sevilla; Lyon travels to Marseille as both teams try to stay within touching distance of a Champions League spot; and Atletico host Valencia in another La Liga clash.

Monday sees Spurs travel to Liverpool as the London club looks to create more breathing room in third place.

I’m looking forward to that Monday game. The way Liverpool is playing, I could see a 2-0 victory for them.

I’ll be up early Saturday morning to see if Arsenal can get it together. I’m guessing they will win, but in uninspiring fashion.

Likely i’ll watch Everton at 10:00 as I’ve been enjoying seeing 2 of the USA stars on the pitch. They might just turn it around and make a run.

Then it is on to see if Fulham can repeat their performance against City. Probably not, but we can be hopeful.
